Pictures in the papers today show Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson being refused entry to Brentwood nightclub Sugar Hut, owned by Mick Norcross of TOWIE fame. She is reported to have said to the bouncers do you know who I am? before telling them that she won X Factor this year. I really hope she didn’t say that, because that line is the worst possible line someone in the public eye could ever use. It gives off the impression that they automatically deserve to be in there just because of what they do for a living, over those getting in who aren’t in the spotlight.
The oldest member of Little Mix was not out with her bandmates. Instead she was out with her friends to enjoy the christmas period ahead of a very busy 12 months ahead in the recording studio. She didn’t look at all impressed at the bouncers not being bothered who she is. When papped walking away from the venue she she looked rather embarassed over the whole situation. It would have been nice of Sugar Hut had given a reason for her being refused entry. Was it dress code? I’m guessing it may well have been because the club was too busy as it was the festive period afterall.
